FINALLY! The "BOY"! After 3 little girls, Aaron was ECSTATIC, to find out that we would be welcoming a little boy to our family. This of course, after the initial shock that we were indeed expecting again! (In case you are curious I have had three babies within the last four years! We have been busy!) Aaron and I fought over what we would name him right up until the end. We chose Holden, after my all time favorite novel, The Catcher in the Rye-Holden Caufield, and Bradley after our Doc, Dr. Bradley Folkestad (who delivered all three of my babies, and we LOVE LOVE LOVE him like he was part of our fam, I refer every one I know to him. He delivered my sister and my sister-in laws babies as well!) Anyhow, Holden absolutely is the best baby there ever was. He has such a calm disposition, despite how hectic his entrance into this world was! I had a scheduled repeat c-section, that lasted TWO HOURS! And after that Dr. Folkestad said no more babies, so I am very glad that HE is here to complete our family. Holden spends his time sleeping, eating, and laughing. He makes the sweetest little coos and smiles. He hardly ever cries! He has his dads sense of humor, he laughs whenever we change a stinky one, lol. His sisters completely adore him. They always want to hold him, tickle him, and kiss him! What I want for my son, is to grow up into a man who stands by his word, to be respectful of women, and to live laugh and love as hard as he can. I want him to be happy, successful, and educated. Holden is such a blessing! After wanting another little girl so badly, I couldn't imagine how it would be not having little Holdie, this is what Kennedy calls him, in our lives!
